Due to the isolation of Gelatine Prime, hope is fading from the hearts of its citizens. The claustrophobia of its slums and industrially manufactured housing projects that are home to many artists instill in them a desperate longing to expand their view of the world. For relief, the Elf Cyborg Alien, a visiting entity, introduces the teaching in the skill of “Laulæ”, a psychokinetic power discovered on humanity’s home world of Earth in the 21st century. It is a power that is activated by dance and song, serving as a tool for the creation of objects or manipulation of the surrounding world, as well as fueling interstellar travel. The ECA wanders through the streets and alleys of Gelatine Prime’s low-income housing areas, describe what they see in their travel log, meet several individuals, hear their stories and eventually offer teaching in the skill of Laulæ. They meet in a group and start the process of initiating Laulæ within themselves.
